About Us

adamandeveit.net takes a myth-busting, thought- provoking approach to religion. We dig up deep-rooted perceptions and prejudices by relating the religious faiths to society in a unique and creative way.

We are here neither to preach nor to convert, but to bring to light the essence of religion, and its universal significance to modern day society.

adamandeveit.net is part of global tolerance limited, an award winning PR company for organisations with a positive social story to tell. For information about global tolerance, please visit www.globaltolerance.com.

Launched in October 2003, adamandeveit.net represents a means for secular society to relate to religion in a unique and thought-provoking way. With a readership in over 150 countries, adamandeveit.net is the new online phenomenon in the evocative religious arena.

Beliefs

adamandeveit.net is not affiliated to any religion or belief system.

We believe the values shared by each of the nine major faiths have universal significance. However, we feel these values will only be properly understood if they are approached in the context of more overtly relevant subjects, such as sport, politics or education. The database of articles on the site reflects this belief.

We believe indifference about religion is a tacit form of prejudice. We encourage informed and balanced opinions about religion that are grounded in mutual respect and understanding. We draw upon the harmful consequences of ignoring the subject of religion, and point to the opportunities that exist from taking positive steps towards unity through diversity.
